Germination/Seed sowing
- Germination rate = 5 - 7 days
- Sow seeds in cell trays 4 weeks before last spring frost OR direct sow in the ground after last spring frost
- Bury seeds 1/4 inch deep with moist seed starting soil
- Cover soil with a layer of vermiculite (optional)
- Keep soil evenly moist until germination occurs. Bottom water cell trays or mist soil everyday (minimally) until seedlings emerge.

Planting
- Harden off seedlings gradually by slowly exposing to outdoor conditions over the course of 5-7 days.
- Transplant seedings once all danger of frost has passed.
- Light = Full Sun.
- Plant Spacing = 9-12"
- Height = varies
- Some tall varieties might benefit from support netting

Harvesting
- Harvest blooms once the stem has become sturdy and the flower is partially open.
